Brent Littlefield serves as a strategic advisor to Maine People Before Politics.
He is the principle owner at Littlefield Consulting, a public affairs and campaign management firm. In 2010 he served as the strategist that helped propel Paul LePage’s successful campaign for Governor.
Born and raised in Penobscot County and having lived in Kennebec and Cumberland county, Brent has advocated for pro-jobs growth policies in Maine for decades.
Brent served as a Member of several Republican County Committees and as a Member of the Maine Republican State Committee. In college he served as Maine’s College Republican Chairman. He has worked on campaigns and public policy initiatives throughout Maine from the local level, state level, Congress and the U.S. Senate. He also served as the Regional Political Director for the National Federation of Independent Business, a region that included Maine, where he advocated for policies that would help small businesses create jobs.
As a commentator he has appeared on FOX News, MSNBC and more than 30 local television stations around the nation including WABI 5, WLBZ 2, WCSH 6, WGME 13, and WMTW 8 here in Maine. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Reader’s Digest, Boston Globe, Roll Call, Politico, The Hill and all of Maine’s major daily newspapers. He has been heard on national syndicated radio programs and programs in Maine like the Ray and Ted show in Portland.
A graduate of the University of Maine, where he served as Student Body President, Brent is regularly heard as a commentator on WVOM, Voice of Maine’s, morning radio program on 101.3 and 103.9 FM each week.
